It is interesting to note that there were two separate celebrations. Indeed, the first one, called “America250” was led by Congress, the second one called Freedom 250 was directed by the White House. This highlights how the two political parties (the Democrats and the Republicans) are polarizing the country. As a matter of fact, this reflects on the controversy around the White House. The country is socially and politically deeply divided.
